New Jersey Assemblywoman Fantasia and Assemblyman Inganamort have
introduced a resolution in the New Jersey House that will protect the Delaware
Water Gap National Recreation Area from the proposal to change its designation to a
national park. Senator Parker Space has introduced the SR93 in the New Jersey Senate.
These resolutions oppose the proposal by the Delaware River National Park and Lenape Preserve Alliance. The proposal is without merit and loaded with dangerous impacts to our environment and surrounding communities to DWGNRA.
We are asking you to write to your local representatives urging their support of AR133 in
the Assembly and SR93 in the Senate. Passage of these resolutions will be a major
step in protecting DEWA from this and all future attempts of a designation change.
